TRADE: Miami traded Shawn Marion, Marcus Banks, and cash to Toronto for
Jermaine O'Neal, Jamario Moon, and a conditional draft pick.
The Basketball Hall of Fame announced the nominations for the class of
2008. The nominees are:
Players
Cynthia Cooper won 2 NCAA Championships with USC, won 4 WNBA
Championships with Houston Comets, named WNBA MVP 2
times, won Olympic Gold Medal in 1988
Richie Guerin played 13 seasons in NBA from 56-57 - 69-70 with New
York Knicks, St. Louis Hawks, and Atlanta Hawks, first
NBA player to score 2,000 points in a season
Dennis Johnson played with Seattle Sonics 76-77 - 79-80, Phoenix Suns
80-81 - 82-83, the Boston Celtics 83-84 - 89-90, won
NBA championship in 1979, 1984, and 1986
Michael Jordan played 13 seasons with Chicago Bulls and 2 seasons
with Washington Wizards, won 6 NBA Championships, won
Olympic Gold Medal in 1984 and 1992, lead NBA in

Bernard King played 14 seasons in NBA including 4 with New York
