Good chance as time went by that he acquired other evidence, but was
bound by the agreement not to publicly disclose it, and the report
itself was already finished.


But what's to really stop him or anyone in the know from releasing this
info now? Everything is out, if Rose really did bet against the team
and there is proof, I can't see any reason why that proof shouldn't be
released. Although I don't believe it, if it was proven, I think that
would be the straw that breaks the camel's back; he'd never get in the
Hall in the million years (and lose much of his die hard fan base).

Personally I'm a Rose fan but if he never gets in right now you'd get
no argument from me. If he gets in, I'd be happy. But if he bet against
the Reds and there's proof, I hope he'd never ever get in, ever, the
same way Joe Jackson should never be allowed in ever.
