Tech Splits With Ga Southern

After another "awful" outing Tuesday, Jackets rebound with a good (but
not great) pitching performance. We'll take it!! Tech splits with
Southern and breaks a three game losing streak. On to VaTech- hope
they're still awful and can help us get back on track.
From www.ramblingwreck.com:The Jackets snapped a three-game losing streak with a 7-4 victory over
Georgia Southern at Russ Chandler Stadium. Danny Payne led off the bottom
of the seventh with a solo home run to break a 3-3 tie and give Tech the
lead for good. Matt Wieters got the win in relief. Starter David Duncan
carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning but was not involved in the
decision.
