I think the most "suspect" thing was him getting your service record
and refusing to release it without your permission. Something really

Supported you and initially even had a problem with the dismemberment

starting spewing lines of crap dealing with the military and that war
you say you were in which hugely called into question the reality of
what you were saying about yourself. He did some checking and presto,
knew without a doubt you were just another big, fat poser. Got the
goods on you and you've been trying to marginalize him ever since. The
record remains, just as damning as ever.
