I recommend you make an appointment with the doctor. It could have
happened due to something as simple as mild congestion or there could
be some other issue in the sinus or the ear. In any case, I don't
recommend you risk perforating an eardrum until you get some input
from a professional. Best to be safe about it - I've never blown out
an eardrum but I know people who have - one and all told me it was
very, very painfull.

Atmospheric change often causes that, had a problem with it myself
from the beginning....especially in the humid Texas Gulf Coast region
I jumped in---Saw a EN&T specialist, he cleaned out my ears and said
keep your ears and sinus clear and you should be OK.....Took half a
Dramamine to dry out my sinus's when I got up on blue sky
mornings....Not enough to make me drowsy, need to be careful about
that...Never had the problem again, it will help with adrenalin
induced vertigo if your suffering that also Be Safe, Have fun....Don't
let Jerry charge you for any advice. he's a dz hustler ;)
