Yes they do, nobody escapes worldly death. Hell even Marvin Zinnler
died but at least he was 85 at check out time. I'm still tussling with
this kids death, he was only 37.....Dunno why it bothers me so bad,
probably because I have it in my mind it could have been prevented or
at least put off a while. Having witnessed much death in a life time
I'm usually a fatalist who believes everyone dies on time, not early,
not late but right at their time--

So, wanna explain the obvious contradiction of, on the one hand being
"bothered" "because (you) have it in (your) mind it could have been
prevented," while on the other believe, "everyone dies on time, not
early, not late but right at their time?"

the grim reaper. Its often passed me by to take someone else---during
the war I witnessed better men than I ever hoped to be die, right
beside me....It left a profound effect on my thinking. What kind of
rig was the kid jumping? Did it have soft cable housings? Were the
risers involved in this line wrap? Usually its a combination of things
that add up until they overpower the jumpers ability do the killing.

The facts are what they are and you are only speculating in ignorance
until they come in. Further, what with you already wailing, "someone
needs to do a hard-nosed investigation," how come you haven't taken it
upon yourself to go "over there and collects the facts," yourself?

The answer of course is, this poor guy's death is for you little more
than yet another exercise in gargling pretense for personal
affirmation. Seen it all before. Numerous times.
