Only if you will stay in the Nation of confessed non spotters---->
Finland.

So, now it's with an "only if"

Hell being Finnish has to be better than being a Brisbane Transvestite
to please Lucas.

Pretty lame troll, dingleberry - of course, there's that Finnish GPS
hook stuck in your throat.

Hey, they had only one DZ last time I checked--------->Utti.

You sdhould check again - there's more, a lot more, - not that the
number of dz's there has anything to do with anything.

Can't
blame them for trying to export....you the only one allowed to chisel
the sport for money by selling something 99% of the jumping world can
do without?

The Finns are selling something? Where do you get that? It did say
~research project~ clearly on the that post which has you so freaked
out.

We have GPS, buy American bitch

Sure, you can get a GPS in this country but this is the first I've
heard of a dedicated system combining GPS receiver, short-range radio,
altimeter, 3D accelerometer, microprocessor with large storage
capacity and USB interface. As for your raging paranoia revolving
around someone mentioning a research project in another country, just
because someone posts mention of a research project being undertaken
in a country other than your own, does not mean it is a reason to
start mouthing hypocritical platitudes like "buy american." (While
using a machine likely built outside your country with parts almost
certainly built and purchased from overseas, no less - hypocrite.)
Sure, buy items exclusively from whatever country you want - you'll
find that for some items you'll get quality while for other things
quality will suffer or the item will be unavailable. Jackass.

and besides that, GPS should be held
in reserve,

And this is not now the case since some research project is supposedly
going on, you big girl?

yawl should be teaching the newbies to spot by eyeball,

Who says this is not the case?

cover the
green light up with your hand every chance you get.

Yo, dumbass, with rare exception, the "green light" means the pilot in
command has given permission for jumpers to leave the aircraft -
nothing more.

Learned that in
the Navy.

You sure as *** didn't learn how to spot.

We had Loran before I got out I'm thinking

Whoopty *** - loran goes back to before you got in, for that matter.

but still used a
sextant and took noon sun shots & used the stars by night at sea at
the Captains insistence.

Did you do this before or after you got done scrubbing all those
trays?

I used to love watching those Midshipmen &
Junior Officers sweat over their fix's. It was a right of passage!

Par for the course - anyone's discomfort is a comfort to you - it's a
long, documented pattern of yours.

Besides they fought Russia to a standstill
once.....

Yeah, for about three and a half months. Then signed a peace treaty
with the soviets which included Finland giving away some pretty hefty
concessions. Undaunted, the Finns went to war with the soviets again
a year or so later - this time supporting Hitler.

Yes, I suppose a coward with no National service would look at it like
that.

Only you, dingleberry, would consider a recitation of fact as cowardly
or indicative of some sort of level of "national service." The facts
don't fit your rhetoric so the best you can do is lamely try to ignore
the facts by attempting to dismiss the one with the facts with beside
the point guesswork. Weak.

Not really, the military, any militia and war is an extension of any
one Nations policy. Finland did not want to be annexed by Russia, as
far as the pact with Germany
well Uncle Joe had one with Hitler also. In Finland's case-you make
peace with the danger furthest removed. I'd say Joseph Stalin and
Hitler were about equal in evil.
But Russia was on their border. Fighting a enemy to bring them to the
table is a common thing also. They were all chicken ***, Hitler broke
his pact with Russia first.
The Finns gave the USSR a bloody nose, pulled off an excellent
political move and just waited it out. And BTW Stalin killed more
people than Hitler. I agree with Patton.
We should have kicked Russia's ass right at the end of WWII. But
unfortunately
the political leaders of England and the U.S. had made a pact with
Stalin so we had
40 some odd years of cold war that bordered on Armageddon and produced
two proxy wars. I trained during the cold war, trained to fight Russia
or any fucking Communist bitch that got froggy and ended up fighting
as a force multiplier in one of the Proxy wars (Vietnam) because of
poor U.S. foresight. Finland was never annexed like the Eastern block
nations....They played both ends against the middle during the whole
cold war period----I'd say they were pretty smart. When I was in
Europe my record read, not to be allowed within 50 km of the Iron
Curtain unless specifically sent for re con or to fulfill team mission
orders. Not allowed to visit Finland at all because they would gladly
turn certain people over to the USSR when asked in order to keep the
peace. Norway are any of the other free Baltic states were open to me.
Got a damn complex over it....Was my Country afraid I'd start WWII?
Not hardly....even though I'd have walked 50 km barefooted & dropped a
Commie in his tracks free of charge cuz I had been trained like a pit
bull to hate the sorry M'fer's, AF SOUTH'S main concern was capture.
We were high value targets. I have nothing whatsoever against North
Vietnam or the PRC but to this day I view Russians & North Koreans as
vermin.

Ummm, Jinnie? You clearly need to focus, pare down the disjointed
rambling and get straight to the point....Short and concise is the way
to go, dingleberry.

Specially one with pin fixation.

Take a look and see who brings the subject up so much, Jinnie.

Yep, I like to keep reminding you you're a weak ***, in more ways
than one way.

And in so doing, reinforcing the idea (or hope) that you're not - thus
making yourself feel better about yourself and your circumstances.
Weak.

I count two at least......mentally and morally

***, dingleberry - not me getting busted for lies, stark
inconsistancy, and blatant hypocrisies but if it makes you feel better
to think you're on some other "mental" plane, feel free. As for
"morally," all you got is that I am so lacking in "morals" that I
actually take the crap you write, your own words, and shove them back
under your nose for you to inhale - that's it. Poor, little Jinnie -
I don't buy your pretenses, your posings, or your bull*** - and this
is clearly indicative of some lack of "morals."

The reality is, it's a bee in your bonnet, not anyone else's - unless you
wanna come up with some argument explaining how pinchecks in airplanes
are never a good idea - which you haven't, yet.

Only if a pin flap is dislodged,

No, with little exception, it's a good idea wherever and whenever the
person wearing the rig wants one.

the time to check pins is before
boarding.

Then, explain this recent statement of yours: "I like most licensed
divers of the time tried to avoid the loading area pin checks for
safety sake,"

They are not designed to fall out if your loop is right

Sht, dumbass - parachutes are not designed to malfunction if you pack
them right, for that matter. The point is, pins are designed to come
clear and they come clear with a certain amount of force imparted in a
certain direction. What you are failing to admit is that not only can
this force be replicated in circumstances other than where or when
planned but there is a weatlth of empirical experience out there
illustrating this truth, nevermind if the "loop is right" or not.
Dumbass.
