80 worked for me, course I wuz a S/L pig & a old one at

Known lots of people who went SL, olds one's too. None lacked the
ability to stand one up in under 80 jumps. taking 80 80 80 80 80 80
figure out how to stand up a landing while virtually every other
skydiver out there, the ones who did manage to stand one up in less
jumps than 80

Well hell pilgrim if I knowed it would cause you to have a fall down
skygod fit I
woulda claimed 160 !!! !!!
Shoot, you go around blaming a demonstrated lack of landing (and
learning) ability > appears pretty skygoddy of ya to blame the equipment (or the
circumstances) rather than accept the reality and take responsibility.
But then, reality and responsibility were never your forte' -

too true, I made a jump after my stroke in a paralitic condition you
USTA squirrls would be afraid to make,
limited mechanical ability. Too bad for you there was no system for
steering and landing which can take charge when mental ability's
lacking.
yuh? before we started in the RAM air days Me in 89/90 you in 95/96,
few were steerable but forward speed was less also
And vertical speed and arresting it when desired on a straight in
approach? Not that the systems available in pre-ramair days has any
bearing here. Systems existed, as they do today, for allowing nominal
horizontal and vertical control for people with limited motor ability,
as well as simulations on the ground, such as hanging a harness, for
determining if what one intended to do under canopy, such as unstowing
toggles and using them so to nominally have horizontal and vertical
control, was within the realm of possibility.
biffed in and wrote off the
broken tib & fib but yawl yowled and cryed like baby's....
like you were responsible or sumthing---
Do yourself a favor and write off the skydiving newsgroup. Writing
off tib fibs and the sometimes boneheaded, if not avoidable, sequence
of events which lead to them might play better over on that RV
newsgroup.
I no longer live in an RV, Own a 4 bedroom on a third of an acre out by
the lake now...I'm living the American dream girlyboy
So, take it over the lakehouse, American dream newsgroup then or dream
yourself to a dropzone and get a clue. Never considered that the
American dream included expressed ignorance.
I know people at Beaumont who were there - they shake their
heads. Kinda embarrassed about the whole thing.
I had what 20 or 30 jumps at beaumont?.....
One, pretty memorable in an embarrassing sort of way. The others just
slightly memorable, in a flailing, this skydive's sure gone to hell,
kinda way.
.wuzzn't my home dz kid...I
was from
SPX Leauge City thense Lake Anuach----When they closed down Waller
became
my home DZ...I had a fun jump route, also jumping at SDD, SDSM & SDA-B.
So
actually I made more jumps at Skydive Dallas than Skydive America @
Beaumont cuz
Beaumont had smaller aircraft and loads.
Which doesn't change in the slightest that those who were present in
Beaumont when you faceplanted yourself into a hospital bed just kinda
shook their heads and felt a bit of embarrassment. But then, the idea
that you jumped elsewhere because of aircraft and load size - kinda
skygoddy - certainly counter to your past lamenting and rhetorical
bull*** concerning large dz's killing the little mom and pops.
So who cares what Beaumont
thinks?
You, evidently. Hell, you were the one who whined that everyone was
"crying and yowling" about how your last jump played out. If anyone
cried and yelled it might have been the people who were there pulling
your face out of the tarmac. Kinda embarassing in retrospect - having
a nice day for jumping forever cast in such a light.
Their probably embarresed to know you cuz yer a alumni of the last DZ
on that particular Airport HAW HAW HAW
Heh, SDA was not the last dz on that airport. Do your homework
better, Jinnie. As for being an alum and people purportedly
embarrassed to know me for whatever reason, nevermind the retarded
notion that this embarrassment suggested here is rooted in where I
might have jumped once upon a time, I still jump with people who
jumped there and now that the place is gone, the only emotional
undercurrent working regarding the place and the people I jumped with
who jumped there is one of profound nostalgia. But then, mention your
date with tarmac destiny? Embarassment.
But, what you construe as "yowling and crying," about the wholestupid episode is
simply, just an acknowledgement of the bright, red exclamation point
to your short turn in skydiving and what light it throws whenever you
try to present yourself as some sort of authority on all thing
skydiving.
Stirring up DZ lizzards with skygod attitudes was a big part of the
sport to me when I was still active----you erxpected me to fully
retire? heh
I have no expectation other than that you will likely step in it,
repeatedly, predictably, and often. Got news for ya, though - talking
about *** you don't have a clue about in a public forum and the
resulting ridicule inbound, is hardly what I would refer to as
"stirring up." Actually, what's only happening here is merely further
iterrations to a greater extent of the working concept of the mutually
assured killfile and to a lesser extent, performance art at its most
absurd. It is interesting, though - what with the "skygod" boogieman
you love to invoke, your own "skygod," at least by your own
descriptions and references, "attitude" is often on display here. Some
might call it ironic but, it's just another parallel of you being
unable or unwilling to think things through.
I think it was the normal thing
yawl are
best at though (((PROJECTING FEAR))) Yer a sissy kid, always have been,
always
will be.
No, being unprepared is not normal. Well, to be fair, I guess SNAFU
applies well to you. Nor is not thinking things through. Neither is
rampant pretense. But, it's not so much about the subjective
considerations of what is "normal" and what is not, but back to the
root of it all - some people just have problems learning to stand up
landings. No big deal, some people are just quicker at it than
others. But you, instead of admitting this bit of truth, and thus the
galling prospect of admitting that there might be some who might have
been more adept in some aspect of skydiving than you, no - it was due
to "ragged out no porosity canopies," or how "old" you were when you
started jumping, or even - that desire for that feeling of having
Snip for brevity----hey all I can say is mylandings made a 100%
improvement
when I bought that new Falcon....might have been a coincidence...I
doubt it though
Sure, you just needed an AFF student canopy to help you out. Nothing
wrong with that. You still haven't squared away how a "ragged out
student canopy" could be referred to as "no porocity," as well as
explain how other people jumping the same canopies you were jumping
somehow failed to biff in 80 jumps in a row.
The stuff of jackasses
...bsrp
...jlk
Aw hell yeah being a true zoo jumper, if a JACKASS JUMP was up next I
made that load for sure....rw rw rw and chasing the points got boring
after a few years
Sorry, Jinnie - there's worlds of difference between a "jackass jump"
and a zoo load. Try not to confuse the two.
