Four years back, we were at Big Mountain at the same time they were
holding the FIS Telemark World Cup. Pretty much the whole Norwegian
team was staying in the 3rd floor condo across the hall from ours.
Never have done the tele thing, but those guys and gals sure made an
art out of it. As indicated, they were also really, really nice
people.

They were passing out official posters, small 1930ish, art deco
looking numbers, in the village, and had my then 6 year old son pick
one up. Had Elliot knock on their door, and the whole team eagerly
signed it. They seemed genuinely flattered that we were interested.
The day after, they knocked on our door, and presented my son with an
official, wool team hat; a beautiful black with white checking, ear
flapped beanie with the flag of norway on the front. The poster hangs
proudly in his room, and the hat is used only on special occasions.

Class never goes out of style.
