She say an ear only ENT and he substansively give her bad news? What
was the bad news?
I don't think substansively is a word. Did you mean sub·stan·tive·ly
(adverb)?

apparent
So I'm converting her rig to a pony rig. She still wants to go on
vacations where I can get in at least a little diving. But no more
week long trips to Cozumel (besides, she'd have a week of unsuprevised
shopping).
She has an ear problem that the "substansively ENT" talked with her
about and he agrees that you can give her a pony bottle? What is the
rationale behind that? If she has a pony, she can dive. Is it that
if she has a pony, she can't dive as long? What is the difference
for her with a pony versus a regular bottle?

Maybe. Maybe not.
When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams come true.
Unless it's really a meteorite hurtling to the Earth which
will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed no
matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteor.
Then you to make up a story about a silver star.
