This isn't a dive trip. However, I will be immersing myself . . . in
history and culture.
I will have my picture taken with the Eiffel Tower in the background. I
will cruise down the Seine.
Mayhap I will wonder at Mona Lisa's smile and be amazed that the actual
painting is small.
I hope to eat snails and drink wine at Chateauneuf de Pape.
The sea at Nice will be too cool for swimming. Perhaps I'll lose some
money
in Monaco.
I shall tread where Romans trod, at the theatre in Orange, and stare agog
at
the Roman architectural ingenuity of Pont du Gard.
I must be one of the luckiest people I know.
