If you need a clearer explanation of plain English, let me know.

I wouldn't be getting it from you.  You never miss a chance to hump
John's leg,

No problem. I always wear my waders when I read his posts. It's a
small price to pay for the laughs.
I wish I'd realized a lot earlier how I can own him without even
posting. 8)

Sooner or later it's gonna sink in just exactly who this clown is that
he's cheering for. Perhaps one day when Watson and his own merry band
of Metoos sink an American fishing boat, or a Coast Guard cutter, all
in the name of saving the planet of course.

It's odd that all these do-gooder types jump on this particular
bandwagon while they ignore meat packing plants and fishing boats
where the treatment of the little critters is at least as gruesome and
violent as that given the seals. I suppose it's different when there's
a steak in it for you instead of oil and furs. Popeye should watch the
routine when divers gut the lobsters they catch. It's a very humane
procedure, car aerial and all. We live in a very violent world, as
evidenced by the number of wars going on today. Why should our
interaction with fish, seals etc be any less violent than that with
the other humans? Seems to me only a hypocritical prick would be
worrying about the seals and taking little interest in all the misery
being foisted on humans by other humans today in so many parts of the
world. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that this is one
little issue that doesn't draw blowback on Popeye's political heroes.
