Unfortunately, no... I am not above laughing at my own mistakes -- whether
they cause broken bones in the process or not...
PS Why did you think this was a good idea?
You mean *other* than just because I'm a guy? <grin>
Well, I had driven my ATV up the ramp into the back of my pickup many
times previously, but that was with an engine that was running right...
With the choke in, the RPMs were a bit higher than normal, plus I had to
add a bit of gas to keep it running... Yeah, looking at in 20/20
hindsight, it was a recipe for disaster... Surprisingly, I got out of it
relatively cheap... It definitely could have been a more expensive
experience...
First time I've ever had to replace the rear window on a car/truck...
Replaced front windshield many times due to rock chips and such, but never
the rear window...
Of course, I could have saved myself a lot of trouble by just putting the
ATV on my utility trailer that I also keep in my hangar... It's a *lot*
lower to the ground and as such, it's a lot easier to load the ATV onto
it... I even thought about it for a second or two... Figured that I could
get the ATV into the bed of the truck even with the rough running
engine... Oh well... At least the ATV didn't flip over backwards and land
on me...
