It had to have been staged. Any self-respecting Texan would have the
planted a 9mm (probably bigger) between the lady driver's eyes at the
first sign of a threat to his person, right?

BTW. That was from my favourite Toronto morning drive time program
that I have on when I'm heading into the Big Smoke for a meeting. They
have a lot of funny stuff on there.
