That's amusing, since both are more *** than wit.

Hard to tweak anything but themselves from the killfile. Unlike many, once I figure someone's not worth the time it takes to gloss past them, few get a second chance. Damn near nobody gets a third.

Well, you're a hard man. It seems that you wrote me off a while ago,
too.

I used to take some of the crap here personally, and I dished it back.
After a while, it just seemed pointless.

This ng is much like the newspaper -- I'll read what interests me,
ignore a lot, laugh at some.

I've given Popeye my cell # and, despite our "differences," he said
he'd look me up. I've invited John to give me a shout if he rolls
into town, and let me know if he gets out diving on the St Lawrence. I
like to think I can get along with almost anyone. I have to agree
with John that I believe most of the people here wouldn't be as
obnoxious in person as they like to be on the ng.
