Can't we all just get along? - Dan's invitation

It's too bad that Greg has to be off in Belize or I'm sure he would think
this get together would be a great idea. Just a short time ago Dan B.
invited us to join him in Cozumel to enjoy his presence during our favorite
activity, scuba diving. As the great moderator from the North, he has put
himself in the position of leading the greatest potential melding of the
great scuba minds ever to possibly occur. All we would need to do is join
Dan and his wife Pat in Cozumel.

Here is our opportunity to enjoy the culture of the South. We'll be
immigrants in the rich Mexican culture, able to speak Spanish, and drive to
our hearts content in the confines of our portion of Quintana Roo. I'm sure
Lee would welcome the opportunity to meet with the families of his neighbors
to the south and compare his Cuban influenced Spanish with that of the
native Spanish speakers of Old Mexico. Dennis, Doug, Scott, John, Chilly,
and all the rest can savor the reef diving then get together for hours of
great on-topic scuba discussion. We can look at each other face to face to
ascertain others' depth of belief in the great conservative world as we know
it. Brian might be there to tell us about Canada. Maybe we can empty a
mini-bar or two from the rooms at the Iberostar before catching a few winks
and an early morning dive. Oh the tropical camaraderie is only a few hours
away.

Short of money? Maybe we can get work at the resort or in town to help pay
for the room. I'm sure we have some services we can offer to earn a few
bucks to help pay the freight. Don't plan to work full-time though, we need
to have plenty of time to get together and talk in English about our homes
and life. Heck, maybe we could chip in and together buy a house on Cozumel
where we could stay part time - or, maybe full time. It's really a great
place, the weather is wonderfully warm, the diving is excellent, and the
cost won't be that much per person. Maybe if this works out we can buy more
homes and land, maybe plan to retire in the great State of Quintana Roo.

I know this is short notice. Make your reservation now. Maybe I will.
