you own a computer, you cannot sing the blues.

"I bought a compute with Vista, now I'm so fucked up"

Sounds good to me.

I'm in the market for a new computer. I'm getting two stories. The guys
at
work and our IT guy are telling me to make sure I buy one loaded with
Windows XP because Vista is a piece of crap and at the very least will
keep
me from being able to log-in from home.

I'm hearing from other IT guys that I should get the Vistas because XP
will
soon be obsolete. I'm not the most computer savvy person to come down the
pike, so suffice to say, I'm extremely confused.

A little help here please?

Thx.

Go with XP.

If you'll be connecting to work from home, you'll probably need the
Professional version. It's a little pricier than the Home version, but not
as pricy as the Media Center version.

As far as Business computers go, I tend to agree with Grumman that Win2k is
the best. For personal computers, I prefer XP Media center, but that's just
my preference.

I haven't used Vista much, but I've heard that it's not ready.
