Yeah, but probably your definition of "pushing it" has expanded some?

Relatively speaking "no", absolutely speaking "yes". IOW, trying to force something before my body is ready for it leads to injuries. But what might have caused an injury 5 yr ago is a good "stress" right now. I've always just built a base, then do what races I'm ready for - in the sense of "doing", not "racing".


I can certainly get away with (and benefit from) things that injured
me 4 years ago, though I'm also far more aware of my limits and
