Sounds like you had a out-of-body experience here. Nice!
PD informs me that the picture was taken at mile 24, not 18. So I
definitely was out of body. Like I said, I don't remember much about
the race.

Great job, Phil. And I really enjoyed this report. I even had the
curious experience of getting ticked off (on your behalf) at the
various forces of ineptitude that seemed to be conspiring against you
that day.
Thanks. I'm sure they'll get it right next year. The PowerAde fiasco
aside, I'd say it was a well-run event. Nice course, if you don't mind
some hills.
