: I ran a 10miler (1:20:53) on Dec 11th and I had some stiffnes - 2 days
: later I had sciatic pain all down the leg from buttock to ankle. I
: tried a 1.5 mile jog 2 weeks ago but it flared again . Voltarol from
: the doctor helped as did some remedial massage . Fiding what aggrevates
: it helps - I obviously had a weak back so I have put much work in on my
: back and Abs . For the first month I wasn't able to cycle and walking
: hurt a lot. Now I can cycle and use the treadmill in the gym - for the
: last 4 consecutive training sessions I have been able to do 20 minute
: bike , back work , abs and upperbody then finish with a 20 minute
: treadmill . I can now spend most of the day with only minor twinges if
: at all (none today) . I hope to begin gentle jogging again perhaps end
: of next week then build very slowly .
:
: It will get better but slowly.
