Excellent! Aquarunning would be fine, but it may not be convenient for

With some injuries it is sometimes possible to conduct training in a
Van Aakeenian manner: run for 70s at a slow enough pace that doesn't
hurt, walk for 30s; continue for 1h or longer; you'll be surprised by
how many kilometers of running you manage to log up and if you're
lucky, the leg gets stronger and you'll soon be able to run up to
350m/90s ands walk 50m/30s, and even if you're not, you'll still end up
back on the road no later than you would get by resting.

(Mind you, he advocates using the infield on a track or some such soft
surface, which may not be so easy to find this time of year.)

Since you're only one hour behind us, this probably comes too late, but
almost always the first few miles are a mile too long. I hope I'm wrong
this time, but the above kind of intermittent running would make for a
safer return to running.

BTW did you get to give the owner of the dog your "in your face"
opinion?:-)
