oups... I knew there was a trap ! I should have only mentioned : "between 7h30' and 6h30' of sleep each night" ;op
Indeed, One can _occasionally_ get away with mounting sleep debt by sleeping long hours during the weekend, but it won't work on a regular basis.
yes I know, saw that, been there...
IMHO this kind of "Kenyan running" is ideal for the morning runs.
well if this would also give me "kenyan times" in races, it's fine for me ;-)
I feel I need something for the brain more then the muscles:-) OTOH I assume you have your supper later than we do up here in the north, so you are no doubt better fueled in the morning.
or maybe I don't use as much brains as *you* do during runs ;-)
more seriously, I never really felt that kind of problem early in the morning.
only time this happens to me is when I run after having eaten sweet things during the day, and it feels like hypoglycemia, I feel dizzy, and washed out after about 15 minutes of running. I Can still go on, slowlier, and it vanishes after about another 10 to 15'.
Cannot see why it should be bad for you - providing, of course, replenish your glycogen stores (w/ some protein) after the run.
yes, after my run I take a substantial (continental) breakfast.
