Yes, pretty close. It looks like the Tucson marathon goes from 4700' to
2600' or a drop of 80' per mile. St. George goes from 5420' to 2680', a
drop of 105' per mile.

Did you mean to say that a drop exceeding 126 feet will NOT meet the
IAAF standards?
