I was reading an article the other day that really got me to thinking
about amusement parks with at least two wooden coasters. In your
opinion, which amusement park (past or present) has/had the best 1-2
combo set of woodies? What were the names of those two coasters and
why, in your opinion, is it the best 1-2 combo ever?
There were threads back in the day about "best 1-2 punch"--you can
Google it. But it is from quite some time ago and a lot of coasters
have come (and gone) since then. As of now, I'd find it hard to beat
either Holiday World (pick your favorite 2 of 3) or Silverwood. All
time? I can't really say.
Agreed - I'm sure Riverview had a great 1-2 (3? 4?) punch, but how can you
judge what you can't ride?
You'd have to take your pick of which of the SEVEN woodies they were running
at one time!
