NO Twisted Twins this year ??? What a bummer !!!!

I visited my home park (SFKK) on opening day, May 10 and found
that Twisted Twins will not be operating at all this year. Who's the
idiot that made this decision ? I don't know for sure but I believe
that the Twins is the coaster with the highest capacity. Somebody
correct me if I'm wrong. As far as loading time is concerned, surely
Twins is faster since there is no seat belts,just a lap bar,right ?
Also,for those guests that are in the 250lb range, Twins is a much
more easier fit than the ratcheting orange bars on Thunder Run or the
OTSRs on Chang. This news of the closing of this section of the park
was not new to me as I had read about it on the internet about a month
ago.
I guess my main complaint is how does a park justify taking
their hightest-capacity coaster and shutting it down for an entire
season ? What if Cedar Fair made the decision to shut down the Racer
at Kings Island for an entire season ? Surely, they wouldn't make a
lame-brain decision like this, would they ? If anyone has any thoughts
on this, please feel free to chime in. Thanks.
