Is there anyone who lives in the Buena Park/Anaheim area that could
provide an update?
Thanks!

I was at the Haunt last night and the weather conditions were a little
trying. It was an unsually warm and very windy night in Southern
California and the eyes of everybody in my group were burning and dry
from the wind-blown irritants. I rarely have eye problems and it was
driving me nuts.
Also, while we were waiting for Sierra Sidewinder, we could SEE the
air in the bright lights surrounding the ride and it was dense with
who-the-hell-knows-what? There was virtually no fog at all in the
park (we even theorized that they just turned off most of the machines
because the powerful winds made it impossible for anything to hang in
the air) so what's normally so much fun about Ghost Town (dark, fog-
filled streets) was completely eliminated.
Add to this the somewhat lackluster performance of the cast members in
the mazes (I swear the people in Lore of the Vampire thought they were
off-duty...) and I'd have to say this year's Haunt was a relatively
minor affair.
