Mythbusters pretty much busted that one.

Yeah, in true form they tried and tried to get the expected result, to no
avail. I was rather surprised actually. However, if the defective rope
wrapped around the porcine analog's extremities just before it was left
to
the mercy of gravity.... Oh.... I shudder>

That will be fine you senseless stroontz! PORCINE ANALOG??? That
makes "nappy hoes" look like a compliment. The poor girl's gotta go
around on PROSTHETICS for the rest of her life. How does her WEIGHT
figure into all of this?! I suppose when flight 11 hit the WTC you
were more concerned with the damage it did to the PAINT JOB??

Um, if you back up a little you might realize that I was referring to the
Mythbusters' methodology. In their experiments, they used a dead pig in
lieu of a human body. Hence "porcine analog". I was in no way referring to
the girl and wouldn't stoop to making gross assumptions about her weight. I
shudder to think that the accident happened the way it seems to have.

You may now withdraw your insult :-)

For what it's worth, if memory serves from the one picture I saw of
the gilr (pre-accident, of course) she looked thin. But obviously we
all realize whether or not she was over-weight had nothing to do with
this accident.
