I don't know what became of the one at Trimper's. It was one of the last ones that I ever rode. I'd also like to see a list of the ones remaining in operation. This show still features one, but it doesn't travel to a location near you:

Another show called McDonagh's Amusements reportedly still runs a Skywheel, too. They don't have an active web site, though.

In any case, check with them before actually going to any carnival whose web site lists a Skywheel. One California operator still lists it on their web site and I was hoping to have a chance to see and ride it, but they decided not to run it this year. :-(
