Roller Coaster Podcasts Suck

Please, it has to be said.
Podcasts were meant for radio programs, so people could listen to them at a later time on their Ipod. But now web sites are streaming every day conversation to jump on the Podcast bandwagon. It's a fancy word for a bunch of people sitting around talking ***.
I've listen to the Thrillnetwork and coasterradio.com casts. They're ok, but basically, it's a bunch of people sitting around having a conversation. This could have been done years ago. It's just some intro music, a chat with a bunch of people on a conferance call, and then some bumper music to end the show. Wow... And the people never stop laughing. It's like a 20 minute laugh track. LOL, LOL, LOL.
And there's no fucking way in hell I'll listen to the CFB podcast. Just what I need, 20-30 minutes of listening to Jeff beg for people to sign up with his club or advertise on his show. Don't to it. Anyone that advertises on that show, I'll boycott. Oh yeah, I'm not going to listen to it, so I won't know.
Hey, I can do my own podcast. All I gotta do is fire up my recorder, and spew some gibberish into the mic. Hey, I'm cool, I've got a podcast.
Please people, stop, you're not funny, and don't talk about anything of interest. Now if you want to talk about sucky rides, and what the industry should do, great, maybe I'll listen. But a bunch of people sitting around talking about their visit to the park? No. And that's the problem, the websites who are podcasting won't take a stand on anything, just like they do on their boards, so they're boring. They suck up to the parks like they can do no wrong.
