And, Matthew, if Dave excavates his basement and finds the shirt, I
think it's a large. If it's an XL it isn't something most people
would swim in. At the time I was thinking of future Den People and
the variety of body sizes out there. The shirt is an official, khaki
BSA shirt for male troop leaders, modified by a professional
seamstress to reflect all things coaster and RRC (circa 1997).

I paid a lot of money to have it made to look authentic 'cause I can't
sew a button on properly much less do fancy stitching and applique
work. I've been known to give articles of clothing to the Salvation
Army if a hem comes out, a seam rips or too many buttons fall off it.
I'm not kidding. I buy clothes in stores like Wal-Mart and Target, so
it doesn't last very long anyhow. I think the DM shirt cost as much
as 20 Wal-Mart t-shirts (basically, my entire wardrobe).

You, or any designated DM, should wear that shirt with pride! ;-)

Anyhow, the job's really not that difficult. Just keep on saying,
"PLEASE! Stop it already!" and hope for the best. And spend a year
(or six) thinking about who the next sucker... I mean, Den Mother
will be. :-)
