Is it that IE renders everything, or is it that the majority of websites are
designed with IE in mind?
As for the Firefox popups, the popup weasels have figured out that they can
trigger new windows by exploiting the Flash plugin. There's a setting that
will fix that.

In my experience, Firefox rarely misfires on a website, and lets few popups
through. The fix has killed off those remaining popups.
