It will take a decade just to replace half of the cars on the road in the US... nearly 20 years to replace them all.

Similarly, there are a total of 700 million to 1 billion total radios in the US. It will take some time for them all to be replaced. And WiMax, in this economy, is several years away from rolling out. The infrastructure will cost hundreds of billions, if it is built.
