Actually, writing a traditional reception report with program details
etc is probably going to get you nowhere. Station personell are too
busy. Emails with a small MP3 or WAV file is what can trigger a
response.

Well said Bjarne, I don't QSL a lot, just the exceptional ones = very
low power or very long distance. It's extremely disappointing after
several followups to get a bare "yes that's us" after your great catch
and your detailed reports and requests for followups (from U.S.
stations).
QSL'ing is not what it used to be. My pal Gary still get's very nice
reports from the Aussies though, often with a nice personal letter,
and once they even phoned him and put him on air.
