Internet radio?

Not sure of the best group to post to so I'm posting in the satellite and shortwave radio groups. Over the years I've moved from shortwave radio to satellite. I couldn't ever afford the big shortwave rigs and haven't the space to install a good outdoor antenna. Now I'm finding myself more and more listening to radio over the Internet and less to my sateliite radio. I have Sirius but also had XM along with it at one time. I'm considering dropping my subscription and pickup a WiFi Internet radio. I'd appreciate hearing of anyone's experience with these radios and recommendations. I haven't followed too closely the issue over the increase in fees levied against Internet-only stations. Is this a concern? On the other hand, most of radio stations I listen to on the computer are normal terresterial ones that I obviously can't access locally so even if Internet-only radio disappeared I think I'd be OK. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.
Larry

I don't know whether it's a virtue or a vice in me, but regularly
rereading favorite books has always been one of the quasi-
religious ceremonies with which I occupy my life.
