Eton says they don't carry them.
Their recommended do have them but want to install-charge labour/shipping
etc, time spent in transit.
Must be somewhere to obtain this very small, fairly inexpensive part without
all the hastle.
Will never buy any Eton products again if parts aren't available for sale
to the customer.
Had the same problem with Kenwood when the PLL went out on my R-5000.
They wanted $200 to do the repairs. They are the only ones with the chips
since they bought up all available stock before the manufacturer went under.
Refused to sell one to me. I think the chip was worth about $8, then they
pile another $192 on the bill for shipping and labor. Not a chance, it's
packed away in the basement probably never to operate again.
