" Analogue vs DAB radio for jogging"
Hi folks,
I was considering buying a portable DAB radio for jogging - mainly I'm
interested in getting the football on 5live and talksport.
The problem is - a lot of the reviews on various sites say that
reception can be a big problem with pocket sized DAB radios in
particular.
I was looking at the Pure 1500 as a dedicated DAB only option -
however the oono MiniDAB looks like a potentially good piece of kit as
it doubles as an mp3 player (and also has a builtin mic). Anyone have
any experience of these two models? Or have better recommendations?
Would an old style analogue radio be a more reliable option? I don't
mind paying a bit extra for the DAB radio if it will be reliable -
however it is useless to me if the reception is not reliable. I'm
guessing you might say "it depends" ... on area, station etc. but
could you give me ballpark odds of how likely I am to get interrupted
listening. How much more or less reliable is a pocket analogue radio
going to be for this purpose?
Thanks!
