Time to liven things up.

What *accessory* have you either purchased or built that's yielded the
biggest bang for the buck (or for your hours of labor)?

In my case it's been a Timewave ANC-4, which I've harped on here
before. Most effective weapon against local noise ever. I can't
imagine ever again living in an urban or highly populated area and not
using a unit like this. If it disappoints some folks, it's most likely
because they give up too quickly in the search for the best noise
antenna.

Second place would probably go to my Clearspeech DSP module, though to
tell the truth I don't use it much since getting the ANC-4.

Yeah, ditto on the ANC-4. I use it here pretty consistently with a Wellbrook
and random wire. It did take a moderate degree of patience and
experimentation in determining a sufficient sense antenna and learning to
effectively utilize the device, but the initial investment is quite worth
the effort.
