That could very well be, and satisfaction depends on what you want out
of your radio, but I can see no valid reason for buying a new scanner
today ... especially the ones castrated by FCC fascism. I managed to
acquire a brand new full coverage MK3 in 2004 thinking I landed the
prize of a lifetime, but if I could get half of what I paid for it, I
sell it tomorrow.
LOL, cellphones? Well, that's a boat that's sailed, and never coming
back. My 2004 does fine on all the PS and RR stuff I listen to.
Cell calls were hilarious, but there was more to listen to than that.
