If you feel it's dead, it's because you must be very limited to the com
systems still out there.
That could very well be, and satisfaction depends on what you want out
of your radio, but I can see no valid reason for buying a new scanner
today ... especially the ones castrated by FCC fascism. I managed to
acquire a brand new full coverage MK3 in 2004 thinking I landed the
prize of a lifetime, but if I could get half of what I paid for it, I
sell it tomorrow.
