Find a point on the fuse block that is turned on with the key, this will
prevent leaving it on problem. Hook up the power wire Red one to this and
ground the black wire to a good ground, most likely there is a point under
the dash. The normal CB does not draw that much current so a direct battery
connection is not necessary.

It seems that everyone recommends running the lines to the battery
(less noise and whatnot - though increased chance of running down
battery if I leave the radio on) - however, I dont understand how to
connect the wires to the battery "terminals"/bolts/whatever. Please
understand Im a TOTAL newb at this - Just got an old Cobra 19 Plus I
wanna hook up.
I'll need to buy/connect more wire to run it all the way to the battery
- what kind? do I just twist two ends of wire together to connect them?
Once I reach the battery.. how do I harness the power.. do I just wrap
the wires around the battery? I dont understand this part...
Thanks...
I have a 1990 Isuzu Trooper - I was looking into installing into the
fusebox, but I cant seem to figure that out.
