Hi -
Does anyone know of a simple way to read the
Philips PLS153 & PLS173 parts without buying
a programmer? I need to 'jury-rig' something
to do the job. Any ideas?
Keeping in mind that the ability to read any PAL is directly
related to whether the security fuse is intact...
'Jury-rigging' a reader for something as potentially complex as a
PLD is not a simple exercise.
SHAMELESS SELF-PLUG: I offer reading, archiving, and programming
services for many kinds of logic and memory devices. I've checked those
devices against the Unisite's list, and it does support both the PLS153
and 157.
If this is strictly for an amateur radio project, I would be happy
to do the read/archive operation at no charge other than return postage.
If this is for a commercial project, it would be $24.50, and that
would include return postage.
