Are you building an amplifier from scratch? If so, I recommend using
"brick" RF modules. They are so simple...just mount them on a
heatsink, wire up a couple of voltages, feed them with the proper
input RF level (usually in the 1-200 mW range) and take the output
from the module and run it through a low pass filter to the antenna.

frequency ranges. They have many modules for the range you seek.
Most modules listed have data sheets at that site as well.

Thats a possible solution.
But sincethis is homebrew, does anyone sell a power transistor or IC that
goes to 450MHz/900MHz?
