We certainly traveled through the medium of space in
order to get to the moon. EM photons obviously travel
through the medium of space.
What you need to prove is that EM photons can travel
somewhere else besides the medium of space, i.e.
outside of the boundaries of the universe.
(P.S. Since "media" is the plural of "medium",
"a media" is improper.)
