I assume we're talking about WiFi cantennas here?

Anyway, Radio Shack has a $30 SWR meter which many people have pressed
into service at far higher than advertised frequencies. You'll need
to detour over to Fry's or someplace similar to get an adapter (or
stack of adapters) to get from the (comically large by wifi standards)
SO-239 to the reverse SMA or whatever is on your wifi gear.
