Does your local club have a magazine and a place you could dry stars?
If so, you could make stars and other components at one meeting, and
finish assembly of the device at another. Am I missing something here?
re: Am I missing something here?
Maybe. I know of three clubs and none allow drying of stars or storage
of materials from one club event to the next. I think it is mainly
because the clubs meet only a few times a year so keeping track of all
that stuff becomes a job no one wants. That isn't a big disadvantage,
though. The other ideas all seem to point to Ed having a workable
solution.
Having said that, the WPAG is pretty sophisticated and there are some
friendly members who are major players so it is also likely that one
of them would help or that storage is possible. Ed will be able to
determine that shortly.
Just had a nice chat with Jim. As long as I prove to him that I'm not
crazy when I meet him he seems very willing to help an aspiring pyro.
I gotta say what a nice bunch of people the pyro community is...
Thanks again everyone for the help.
