"Teak oil" isn't. It's usually either a highly diluted varnish, or natural
tung oil with or without dryers added.

Yep, but the label in marine stores (chandleries) is "Teak Oil". That
relabeling adds about $5.00/quart to the selling price.
Out of curiousity, do you know where Tung Oil originates? Is there a
"Tung" plant or tree?
