Also if this is a big deal why did they pick this lake and why was
more then one lake not tested? It would seem to me that this
particular lake gave them the best chance to see the results that they
wanted to. JMHO
That's precisely why they chose it. In a Massachussetts study, they chose a
small piece of ground on which many, many shows are shot, and did "surface
scrapings" _immediately_ after a large show. They included blind stars in
what was supposed to be a bulk cross-section study of the soil. The blind
stars were blended and ground up with the soil in order to support their
"findings". At no time did they dig deeper than 1cm for the samples.
