Re: Glutinous rice starch

Chinatown is where I buy it SGRS with, along with jellied alcohol
(for heating Poo Poo platters at 1/4 the cost of Sterno), plus Kum's
Sweet Chili Sauce (for Kung Pao dishes), really good Sesame Oil
(imparts the flavor associated with really good fried rice), not to
mention the wonderful bargain that you can get on fresh and oftern
difficult to obtain elesewher spices you can purchase in a Chinese
supermarket!

Stay away from the 1,000 year old eggs, because that is a very
definitly acquired taste.

Here in Boston, we have a rather small Chinatown, but a visit to a
restaurant here is very definitly worth the experience, and I assure
you that you will return again. You like can obtain the same
experience in New York, Washinton, DC (my favorite Chinatown), LA or
San Fran. but all of these facilities are capable of bring tears to
your eyes if you request you order to be extra hot an spicey. It's
very definitely not you 'Panda Wok' mall food served in the midwest!

OK, I know... Off topic. Forgive me.
