Just a follow up -
I have done quite a few estimates of shipping all over the country, and
prices range from $20.00 to $41.00 for shipping alone. More than I
expected.
A suggestion was made on another group that perhaps I could drop ship
some product at the convention, which would substantially reduce end
cost. However, due to my job as wildland fire suppression manager, I
don't think I can make the convention during the peak of our fire
season.
So, what would have to be done is that I would purchase the paper and
ship it to the conference, then someone else would have to do the
selling and send me the proceeds. If there was excess left over, well,
that would be a problem.
I'll just throw that possibility out to this group and see if there is
anybody willing to take on the selling responsibility, for no money,
and very little fame. I could drop ship one pallet each of +70# and
60# virgin if I know in the next day or two. That would bring the
total cost per roll down to (or below) $55.00 and $60.00 respectively
(for a 45lb 48" roll).
Just a thought to run up the flagpole...
