Acarde, you're likely not allowing sufficient time for your virus
checker to complete its scan of the file, and the download stops at 99%
until that check is completed. Just as a test, I downloaded it from
Bob's site and everything came out perfectly on competing a comparision
with the original disk.
Compared with the original distribution disk, some if the junk kid pyro
files have been deleted and some classic historic material added, plus
another filler music to more or less fill the disk. The link Bob has
provided does an excellent job of dowloading the entire disk image
without adding spyware and potential viruses, which a significant
problem on many of the commercial downloading services.
Just as a safety suggesstion, I caution everyone not to download the
disk image from any site other the one that Bob has provided, and NEVER
from any site where the intact binary disk image is image is modified
in any way from its original districution form, which is somewhere
between 600 and 700 Mbytes. Again, this was done in an attempt to fill
out the space on the disk, hence to try and prevent 3rd party additions
of any type (it's not accidental). Be particulary wary if you seen
anyone offering only framentary pieces because of the above stated
risks.
It goes without saying that it would be impractical to download
material of this size without uses of high-speed cable, DSL, a T1,
etch.
Just for the record, I no longer upload this material over Limewire,
however others are continuing what I starged.. By the same token, I'm
no longer supplying the disk, so Bob's link is likely the best and only
source for a complete set of this material.

p.s., The musical material represents a cross section of the type of
music usually played to accompany fireworks displays here in New
England. Most of this includes classical and partriotic selections, as
wall as traditional popular selections. (Likely the strangest things on
the disk is Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", Willie
Nelson's "Spirit of New Orleans", and a few other titles that remain
still very popular with the pyros, and are occasionally heard with
displays. Others are simply filler material that is popular with the
over 40 crowd. Personally, I prefer my fireworks without music, but
tases vary. Sorry, no acid rock or rap type stuff, but on the other
hand there are some excellent Beatles selections and a bit of Elvis!
:-)
